This lovely 1930s Art Deco jug and set of six tumblers is evocative of the era with clean lines and geometric details. It’s made of high quality pressed glass in a swag and column design, by Sowerby Glasswork, which was based in Gateshead from 1760 until 1972.  It was the first of its kind in England, devoted specifically to the manufacture of pressed glass.
