This fantastic pine, campaign or travelling trunk is re-enforced with iron corner brackets and features an iron lock and carrying handles.  The lid is decorated with an image of a tall-ship battle (possibly the Battle of Trafalgar) and inside are the chord remnants which would have been used to secure the contents. Great as a decorative storage piece or an unusual coffee table, this piece is the perfect talking point.

Please note - there is a split to the lid and bottom of the trunk and there are marks and wear consistent with age.  The key is missing.
